PROVERB 1
Reason for the proverbs
1Los proverbs of Salomón, son of David, king of Israel.
2 to understand wisdom and it indoctrinates,
In order to know reasons prudent,
3 to receive the prudence advice,
Justice, judgment and fairness;
4 to give sagacidad the simple ones,
And to the young people intelligence and sanity.
5 Oirá the wise person, and will increase the knowledge,
And the understood one will acquire advice,
6 to understand proverb and declaration,
Deep words of wise people, and their sayings.
7 the principle of the wisdom is the fear of Yahweh;
The foolish ones despise the wisdom and education.
Reprimands of the Wisdom
8 Oye, son mine, the instruction of your father,
And you do not despise the direction of your mother;
9 Because grace adornment will be to your head,
And necklaces to your neck.
10 Son mine, if the sinful ones want to you to deceive,
You do not allow.
11 If they will say: They see with us;
We put ambushes to spill blood,
We watch without reason the innocent;
We will swallow 12 Them alive like the Seol,
And whole numbers, like which they fall in an abyss;
13 Hallaremos wealth of all class,
We will fill our houses of despoliation;
14 Echa your luck between us;
We have all a stock market.
15 Son mine, you do not walk in way with them.
It separates your foot from its paths,
16 Because their feet run towards the evil,
And they are going quick to spill blood.
17 Because in vain the network will lie down
Before the eyes of all bird;
18 But they to their own blood put ambushes,
And to his souls they tend bow.
19 Such are the footpaths of which is given to the greed,
Which clears the life of its possessors.
20 the wisdom cries out in the streets,
It raises his voice in the places;
21 Clama in the main places of meeting;
In the entrances of the doors of the city it says his reasons.
22 Until when, oh simple, you land on water the simpleza,
And the mocking ones will wish deceiving,
And the foolish ones will detest science?
23 Volveos admonition;
I am I will spill my spirit here exceeds you,
And I will let know my words you.
24 Inasmuch as I called, and you did not want to hear,
I extended my hand, and there was no that took care of,
25 But you rejected all advice mine
And my admonition you did not want,
26 Also I will ***reflx mng myself in your calamity,
And I will make fun of when it comes to you what you fear;
27 When it comes like a destruction which you fear,
And your calamity will arrive like an eddy;
When he exceeds you will come tribulation and distress.
28 Then they will call to me, and I will not respond;
They will look for to me morning, and they will not find to me.
29 Inasmuch as they detested the wisdom,
And they did not choose the fear of Yahweh,
30 Nor they loved my advice,
And they despised all admonition mine,
31 Comerán of the fruit of its way,
And they will be indifferent of its own advice.
32 Because the deflection of will kill the ignorant ones them,
And the prosperity of will throw them to the fools to lose;
33 But the one that will hear to me, will live trustingly
And it will live calm, without fear of the evil.
PROVERB 2
Excellence of the wisdom
1 Son mine, if you receive my words,
And my orders you will keep within you,
2 Making be kind your ear to the wisdom;
If you will incline your heart to the prudence,
3 If you will cry out to intelligence,
And to the prudence you will give your voice;
4 If as you look for it to the silver,
And escudriñares like a treasures,
5 Then you will understand the fear of Yahweh,
And you will find the knowledge of God.
6 Because Yahweh gives the wisdom,
And from his mouth it comes the knowledge and intelligence.
7 it provides with healthy wisdom to the rectums;
It is shield to which they walk straight.
8 He is the one that keeps the paths from the judgment,
And it preserves the way of his saints.
9 Then you will understand justice, judgment
And fairness, and all good way.
10 When the wisdom enters your heart,
And science will be pleasing to your soul,
11 discretion will keep to you;
It will preserve intelligence to you,
12 For librarte of the evil way,
Of the men who speak perversidades,
13 That leaves the lawful means,
In order to walk by tenebrous footpaths;
14 That is glad making the evil,
That they idle in the perversidades of the vice;
15 Whose paths are twisted,
And twists its ways.
16 you will be freed of the strange woman,
Of the other people's one that flatters with its words,
17 Which leaves the companion of its youth,
And one forgets the pact of his God.
18 Thus its house is inclined to the death,
And its paths towards deads;
19 All that at her are arrived, will not return,
Nor they will again follow the footpaths of the life.
20 Thus you will walk by the way of the good ones,
And you will follow the paths of the right ones;
21 Because the rectums will inhabit the Earth,
And the perfect ones will remain in her,
The 22 But impÃos will be cut of the Earth,
And the uprooted prevaricadores will be of her.
PROVERB 3
1 Son mine, you do not forget my law,
And your heart keeps my orders;
2 Because length of days and years of life
And peace will increase to you.
3 Never the mercy and the truth separate from you;
Atalas to your neck,
EscrÃbelas in the table of your heart;
4 and you will find grace and good opinion
Before the eyes of God and the men.
5 FÃate de Yahweh of all your heart,
And you do not lean in your own prudence.
6 Reconócelo in all ways,
And he will straighten your paths.
7 you are not wise in your own opinion;
It fears to Yahweh, and apártate of the evil;
8 Because it will be medicine to your body,
And refreshment for your bones.
9 Honor to Yahweh with your goods,
And with the first fruits of all fruits;
10 and your barns with abundance will be full,
And your lagares will overflow with must.
11 you do not despise, son mine, the punishment of Yahweh,
Nor you get tired yourself of its correction;
12 Because Yahweh which it loves punishes,
Like the father to the son to whom wants.
13 Fortunate the man who finds the wisdom,
And that obtains intelligence;
14 Because its gain is better than the gain of the silver,
And its fruits more than fine gold.
15 more precious it is than precious stones;
And everything what you can wish, cannot be compared her.
16 Length of days is in its right hand;
In its left, wealth and honor.
17 Their ways are delightful ways,
And all paths peace.
18 It is life tree to which of her make use,
And fortunate they are those retain that it.
19 Yahweh with wisdom founded the Earth;
It affirmed skies with intelligence.
The 20 With their science abysses were divided,
And the skies distill dew.
21 Son mine, does not separate these things from your eyes;
It keeps the law and the advice,
22 and they will be life to your soul,
And grace to your neck.
23 Then you will walk trustingly by your way,
And your foot will not encounter.
24 When you lie down, you will not have fear,
But you will lie down, and your dream will be pleasing.
25 you will not have fear of sudden terror,
Nor of the ruin of the impÃos when it comes,
26 Because Yahweh will be your confidence,
And he will preserve your foot to be imprisoned.
27 you do not refuse to make the good to that must,
When you must be able to do it.
28 you do not say to your fellow: It walks, and it returns,
And tomorrow I will give you,
When you must with you what give him.
29 you do not try badly against your fellow
That it lives trusting next to you.
30 you do not have lawsuit with anybody without reason,
If offense has not done you.
31 you do not envy the unjust man,
Nor you choose no of its ways.
32 Because Yahweh detests the profligate;
But its intimate communion is with the right ones.
33 the curse of Yahweh is in the house of impÃo,
But it will bless the dwelling of the right ones.
34 Certainly it will escarnecerá to the escarnecedores,
And to the humble ones he will give grace.
The 35 wise people will inherit honor,
But the fools will take ignominy.
PROVERB 4
Benefits of the wisdom
1 OÃd, children, the education of a father,
And you are kind, so that you know sanity.
2 Because I give good education you;
You do not abandon my law.
3 Because I also was son of my father,
Delicate and unique in front of my mother.
4 and he taught to me, and he said to me:
It retains your heart my reasons,
It keeps my orders, and you will live.
5 Adquiere wisdom, acquires intelligence;
You do not forget nor you separate the reasons of my mouth;
6 you do not leave it, and it will keep to you;
Amala, and will conserve to you.
7 Wisdom first of all; it acquires wisdom;
And on all possessions it acquires intelligence.
8 Engrandécela, and it will engrandecerá to you;
It will honor to you, when have embraced you it.
9 Adorno of grace will give your head;
Crown of beauty will give to you.
10 Oye, son mine, and receive my reasons,
And years of life will multiply to you.
11 By the way of the wisdom I have directed to you,
And by right paths I have made you walk.
12 When you walk, your steps will not be narrowed,
And if you will run, you will not encounter.
13 Detent the advice, you do not leave it;
Guárdalo, because that is your life.
14 you do not enter by the path of the impÃos,
Nor you go by the way of the bad ones.
15 Déjala, you do not happen through her;
Apártate of her, happens.
16 Because they do not sleep if they have not done badly,
And they lose the dream if they have not made fall to some.
17 Because they eat badness bread, and they drink wine of robberies;
18 But the footpath of the right ones is like the light of the aurora,
That it increases until the day is perfect.
19 the way of the impÃos is like the dark;
They do not know over what they encounter.
20 Son mine, is kind to my words;
Your ear to my reasons inclines.
21 they do not separate from your eyes;
Guárdalas in the middle of your heart;
22 Because they are life to find which them,
And medicine to all their body.
23 On all kept thing, it keeps your heart;
Because of him manna the life.
24 Aparta from you the perversidad of the mouth,
And it moves away of you the iniquity of the lips.
25 Your eyes watch the rectum,
And your eyelids go towards which you have ahead.
26 Examina the footpath of your feet,
And all ways are straight.
27 you do not turn aside yourself to the right nor to the left;
It separates your foot from the evil.
PROVERB 5
Reprimand against the impurity
1 Son mine, is kind wisdom,
And intelligence inclines your ear,
2 So that you keep advice,
And your lips conserve science.
3 Because the lips of the strange woman distill honey,
And its palate is softer than the oil;
4 But its aim is bitter like the wormwood,
Acute like sword of two edges.
5 Their feet descend to the death;
Their steps lead to the Seol.
6 Their ways are unstable; you will not know them,
If you will not consider the life way.
7 Now then, children, oÃdme,
And you do not separate from the reasons of my mouth.
8 Aleja of her your way,
And you do not approach the door of its house;
9 So that nonDES to the strangers your honor,
And your years to the cruel one;
10 he is not that strange are satiated of your force,
And your works are in house of the stranger;
11 and you moan in the end,
When it is consumed your meat and your body,
12 and you say: How I detested the advice,
And my heart despised the admonition;
13 I did not hear the voice of which instructed to me,
And to that they taught to me I did not incline my ear!
Almost 14 in all evil I have been,
In the middle of the society and of the congregation.
15 Bebe the water of you yourself cistern,
And the torrents of your own well.
16 Your sources by the streets will be spilled,
And your water obstacles by the places?
17 They are for you only,
And it does not stop the strangers with you.
18 your spring Is blessed,
And alégrate with the woman of your youth,
19 Like cierva loved and graceful gacela.
Their caresses satisfy you in all time,
And in its love recréate always.
20 And why, son mine, you will walk blind with the other people's woman,
And you will embrace the sine of the stranger?
21 Because the ways of the man are before the eyes of Yahweh,
And he considers all paths.
22 Prenderán to impÃo its own iniquities,
And retained it will be with the cords of his sin.
23 it will die for want of correction,
And it will be mistaken by the immense thing of his madness.
PROVERB 6
Reprimand against the laziness and the falsification
1 Son mine, if you leave fastener by your friend,
If you have pawned your word to a stranger,
2 you have connected with the words of your mouth,
And you have been imprisoned in the sayings of your lips.
3 Haz this now, son mine, and lÃbrate,
Since you have fallen in the hand of your fellow;
It sees, humÃllate, and asegúrate of your friend.
4 nonDES dream to your eyes,
Nor to your eyelids sleepiness;
5 Escápate as gacela of the hand of the hunter,
And as bird of the hand del that arms bows.
6 Ve the ant, oh sluggish,
It watches his ways, and I know wise;
7 Which not having captain,
Neither governor, nor gentleman,
8 Prepara in the summer its food,
And it picks up in the time of the harvest his maintenance.
9 Sluggish, until when you have to sleep?
When you will rise of your dream?
10 A little dream, a little to doze,
And to cross by a little the hands for rest;
11 Thus your necessity like traveller will come,
And your poverty like armed man.
12 the bad man, the man depraveed,
He is the one that walks in perversidad of mouth;
13 That yaws the eyes, that speak with the feet,
That he makes signs with the fingers.
14 Perversidades has in its heart; it walks thinking the evil about all time;
It seeds the discords.
15 Therefore, its calamity will come suddenly;
Suddenly it will be broken, and there will be no remedy.
16 Six things detest Yahweh,
And seven even detest their soul:
The 17 arrogant eyes, the lying language,
The derramadoras hands of innocent blood,
18 the heart that machine iniquitous thoughts,
The quick feet to run to the evil,
19 the false witness that he speaks lies,
And the one that seeds discord between brothers.
Reprimand against the adultery
20 Guarda, son mine, the order of your father,
And you do not leave the education of your mother;
21 Atalos always in your heart,
Enlázalos to your neck.
22 they will guide to You when you walk; when you sleep they will keep to you;
They will speak with you when you wake up.
23 Because the order is lamp, and education is light,
And life way the admonitions that instruct to you,
24 So that they keep to you from the bad woman,
Of the softness of the language of the strange woman.
25 you do not covet its beauty in your heart,
Nor she pledges to you with her eyes;
26 Because of the woman ramera the man is reduced to a mouthful of bread;
And the woman hunts the precious soul of the man.
27 She will take the man fire in his sine
Without their dresses burn?
28 He will walk the man on live coals
Without their feet are burned?
29 Thus he is the one that is arrived at the woman of its fellow;
It will not be unpunished any will touch that it.
30 they do not have in little the thief if he steals
In order to satiate its appetite when it is hungry;
31 But it is surprised, will pay seven times;
It will give all the salary of his house.
32 But the one that adultery commits are lacking of understanding;
The one corrupts its soul that so does.
33 Hurt and verg: uenza will find,
And its insult never will be erased.
34 Because the jealousy are the rage of the man,
And it will not pardon in the day of the revenge.
35 it will not accept any rescue,
Nor it will want to pardon, although you multiply the gifts.
PROVERB 7
The ruses of ramera
1 Son mine, keeps my reasons,
And he hoards with you my orders.
2 Guarda my orders and you will live,
And my law like the children of your eyes.
3 LÃgalos to your fingers;
EscrÃbelos in the table of your heart.
4 Di to the wisdom: You are my sister,
And to intelligence relative calls;
5 So that they keep to you from the other people's woman,
And of the stranger who softens her words.
6 Because watching I after the window of my house,
By my lattice window,
7 Vi between the simple ones,
I considered between the young people,
To young a lacking one of understanding,
8 Which happened through the street, next to the corner,
And way went to the house of her,
9 To afternoon of the day, when already it grew dark,
In the dark and darknesses at night.
10 When there am here, a woman leaves to him to the encounter,
With astute attire of ramera and of heart.
11 quarrelsome Agitator and,
Their feet cannot be in house;
12 times it is in the street, other times in the places,
Watching by all the corners.
13 one took hold of him, and it kissed to him.
With semblante shameless it said to him:
14 Sacrifices of peace there was fiance',
Today I have paid my votes;
15 Therefore, I have left to encontrarte,
Looking for diligently your face, and I have found to you.
16 I have adorned my bed with bedspreads
Recamadas with small cord of Egypt;
17 I have perfumed my camera
With mirra, aloes and cinnamon.
18 Ven, embriaguémonos of loves until the morning;
Alegrémonos in loves.
19 Because the husband is not in house;
One has gone away to a long trip.
20 Stock-market of money took in its hand;
The indicated day will return to its house.
It rendered 21 It with the smoothness of his many words,
It forced to him with the flattery of his lips.
22 To the point one left after her,
As the ox goes to the degolladero,
And like the fool to to be punished prisons;
23 Like the bird that hurries to the network,
And it does not know that is against his life,
Until saeta transfers its heart.
24 Now then, children, oÃdme,
And you are kind to the reasons of my mouth.
25 Not separate your heart to its ways;
You are not mistaken in its paths.
26 Because to many it has made fall wounded,
And even strongest they have been died by her.
27 Way to the Seol is its house,
That it leads to the cameras of the death.

PROVERB 8
Excellence and eternity of the Wisdom
1 The wisdom does not cry out,
And it gives to his voice intelligence?
2 In the heights next to the way,
To the crossroads of the paths it is stopped;
3 In the place of the doors, to the entrance of the city,
To the entrance of the doors it gives voices:
4 Oh men, I cry out;
I direct my voice to the children of the men.
5 Entended, oh simple, discretion;
And you, foolish, enter sanity.
6 OÃd, because I will speak excellent things,
And I will abriré my lips for straight things.
7 Because my mouth will speak truth,
And the impiedad detests my lips.
8 Jousts are all the reasons of my mouth;
There is in them perverse nor no twisted thing.
9 All of them are straight to which understands,
And reasonable to that they have found wisdom.
10 Recibid my education, and nonsilver;
And science before the selected gold.
11 Because better it is the wisdom than precious stones;
And all whatever can be wished, is not to compare itself with her.
12 I, the wisdom, habit with the sanity,
And I find the science of the advice.
13 the fear of Yahweh is to detest the evil;
Pride and the arrogance, the evil way,
And the perverse mouth, I detest.
14 With me he is the advice and the good judgment;
I am intelligence; mine it is the power.
15 By me the kings reign,
And the princes determine justice.
16 By me they dominate the princes,
And all the governors judge the Earth.
17 I love which love to me,
And they find those to me that early they look for to me.
The 18 wealth and honor are with me;
Lasting wealth, and justice.
19 Better it is my fruit than the gold, and that the gold refining;
And my yield better than the selected silver.
20 By justice path I will guide,
By in the middle of judgment footpaths,
21 to cause that those that they love to me have his you inherit,
And that I fill his treasures.
22 owned me to Yahweh in the principle,
Already of old, before its works.
23 Eternally I had the principality, from the beginning,
Before the Earth.
24 Before the abysses I was generated;
Before they were the sources of many waters.
25 Before the mounts were formed,
Before cols, already I had been generated;
26 the Earth had not still done, nor the fields,
Nor the principle of the dust of the world.
27 When it formed skies, she was I there;
When it drew up the circle on the face of the abyss;
28 When it affirmed skies above,
When it affirmed the sources of the abyss;
29 When it put to the sea his statute,
So that the waters did not transfer their order;
When it established the Earth foundations,
30 With him I was ordering it everything,
And it was his delight by day in day,
Having solaz in front of him in all time.
31 I cheer to Me in the inhabitable part of its earth;
And my delights are with the children of the men.
32 Now, then, children, oÃdme,
And fortunate those that keep my ways.
33 Atended the advice, and thirst wise,
And you do not despise it.
34 Fortunate the man who listens to me,
Guarding to my doors every day,
Waiting to posts of my doors.
35 Because the one that finds to me, will find the life,
And the Yahweh will reach please.
36 But the one that sins against me, defraud their soul;
All that they detest to me love the death.
PROVERB 9
The Wisdom and the foolish woman
The 1 wisdom built its house,
It worked his seven columns.
2 Mató its victims, mixed its wine,
And it put his table.
3 Envió its servants;
On highest of the city it cried out.
4 Dice to any simple one: They see here.
To the lacking ones of sanity it says:
5 Venid, you eat my bread,
And you drink of the wine that I have mixed.
6 Dejad the simplezas, and you live,
And you walk by the way of intelligence.
7 The one that corrects to the escarnecedor, causes insult;
The one that reprimands to impÃo, is attracted spot.
8 you do not reprimand to the escarnecedor, so that it does not detest to you;
It corrects the wise person, and it will love to you.
9 Da to the wise person, and will be wiser;
Standard to just, and will increase its knowledge.
10 the fear of Yahweh is the principle of the wisdom,
And the knowledge of the SantÃsimo is intelligence.
11 Because by me your days will be increased,
And years of life will be added to you.
12 If you will be wise, for you you will be it;
And if you will be escarnecedor, you will only pay you.
13 the foolish woman is rebellious;
He is simple and ignorant.
14 one feels in a chair to the door of his house,
In the high places of the city,
15 to call to which happens through the way,
That they go by his lawful means.
16 Dice to any simple one: They see here.
To the lacking ones of sanity it said:
The 17 stolen waters are sweet,
And the bread eaten in hidden is flavorful.
18 and they do not know that there they are the deads;
That invited his they are in the deep thing of the Seol.
PROVERB 10
Resistance between just and the evildoer
1 the proverbs of Salomón.
The wise son cheers to the father,
But the foolish son is sadness of his mother.
The 2 treasures of badness will not be of benefit;
But justice death pound.
3 Yahweh will not let suffer hunger to just;
But iniquity will send to the impÃos.
4 the negligent hand impoverishes;
But the hand of the diligent ones enriches.
5 The one that gathers in the summer is understood man;
The one that to duer me in the time of the harvest is son who shames.

But violence will cover the mouth with the impÃos.
7 the memory of just will be blessed;
But the name of the impÃos will rot.

But violence will cover the mouth with the impÃos.
12 wide-awake hatred quarrels;
But the love will cover all the lack.
13 In the lips of the prudent one is wisdom;
But the twig is for the backs of the lacking one of sanity.

And the faint of the poor men is its poverty.
16 the work of just is for life;
But the fruit of impÃo is for sin.

But who rejects the admonition, it is mistaken.
18 The one that conceals hatred is of lying lips;
And the one that propagates calumny is foolish.
19 In the many words it does not lack sin;
But the one that checks its lips is prudent.
20 selected Silver is the language of just;
But the heart of the impÃos is like anything.
The 21 lips of just feed to many,
But the fools die for want of understanding.
22 the blessing of Yahweh is the one that enriches,
And it does not add sadness with her.
23 doing badness is like a diversion to the foolish one;
But the wisdom recreates the understanding man.
24 What impÃo fears, that will come to him;
But to the right ones it will be given to them what they wish.
25 As it passes the eddy, therefore the bad one does not remain;
But just it remains for always.
26 Like the vinegar to the teeth, and like the smoke to the eyes,
Thus he is the sluggish one to they send that it.
27 the fear of Yahweh will increase the days;
But the years of the impÃos will be shortened.
28 the hope of the right ones is joy;
But the hope of the impÃos will perish.
29 the way of Yahweh is strength to the perfect one;
But it is destruction to which they make badness.
30 the right one will never be removed;
But the impÃos will not inhabit the Earth.
31 the mouth of just will produce wisdom;
But the perverse language will be cut.
The 32 lips of just know to speak what pleases;
But the mouth of the impÃos ones speaks perversidades.
PROVERB 11
The 1 weight false is abomination to Yahweh;
But the exact weight pleases to him.
2 When pride comes, the dishonor also comes;
But with the humble ones it is the wisdom.
3 the integrity of will direct them to the rectums;
But it will destroy to sinful the perversidad of them.
4 they will not take advantage of the wealth in the day of the wrath;
But justice will free of death.
5 the justice of the perfect one will straighten its way;
But impÃo by its impiedad will fall.
6 the justice of will free them to the rectums;

And the sense of expectancy of the bad ones will perish.

But impÃo enters place his.
9 the hypocrite with the mouth damages his fellow;
But the right ones are freed with the wisdom.

But when the impÃos perish there is celebration.

But by the mouth of the impÃos it will be upset.
12 The one that lacks understanding despises its fellow;
But the prudent man is silent.
13 The one that walks in gadgets discovers the secret;
But the one of faithful spirit keeps everything.
14 Where there is no wise direction, the town will fall;
But in the multitude of advisers there is security.
